Ima Jean Hobson

Ima Jean Hobson, 83 of Crosby, Texas went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2018.  Ima Jean was born on September 8, 1934 in Elkhart, Texas to Charles C. and Vera (Franklin) Gammage.  Ima Jean worked as a sales clerk in retail for many years and in her free time she enjoyed yardwork, traveling, reading trash novels, taking care of her husband and spending time with her family and friends.  Ima Jean was a very strong, hardworking and caring woman who had a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Robert Hobson; and grandson’s, Casey Hobson and Justin Hobson. Ima Jean is survived by her children, Mike Hobson and wife Dana; Sharon Brantly and husband Don; grandchildren, Christopher Brantly and wife Elizabeth, Lauren Olsen and husband Robert, Jennifer Cramer and husband Kyle; great grandchildren; Caleb Hood, Kalob Brantly, Ethan LeBlanc, Audra Olsen, Mia Brantly, Brett Hood; sister, Bonnie Duke; sister Patsy Villareal and husband Johnny; and many other relatives and friends.  A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 10am -11am at Sterling-White with funeral services starting at 11am.  Entombment will follow at the Hobson family mausoleum at Sterling-White Cemetery.  Services have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd.
