James Richard Trail, 56, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. He was born in Wharton, Texas on December 2, 1964 to his parents, Donald Eugene Trail and Linda Sue Tyler Trail. He was an adventurous outdoorsman that loved trying new things. His favorite thing to do was saltwater fish and deer hunt. James loved to race his mustang and fly his radio controlled airplanes. He was famous for his Sopapilla Cheesecake, Cheesecake Cookies, and Bread. James loved his Miller Lite and hanging out at the bar. James will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
James is preceded in death by his father, Donald Trail; brother, Ricky Lee Trail; step-father, Billy Morris; and canine companion, Lily.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Darlene Trail; mother, Linda Morris; children, Amanda Trail, Ricki Trail, and Johnny Woodard; grandson, Jonathan Start; sisters, Donna Romero and husband Heath, and Carla Trail; and his canine companions, Porky and Dotty; and a host of extended family and friends.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Sterling White Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 also at Sterling White Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sterling White Cemetery.
