Jeannette Eleanor Clark

Jeannette Eleanor Clark, 76, of Crosby, Texas, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 in Baytown, Texas. She was born March 23, 1945 in Basil, Ohio to parents Russell W. Taylor and Mabel I. Griffith Taylor who preceded her in death along with her husband, Robert Clark; brothers, George, Kenneth, Russel, and Roger Taylor; sisters, Ora Mae Moore, Janet Foss, and Marylyn Russel; and her beloved dog, Gizmo.

Mrs. Clark was known as a bubbly, out-going woman who was goofy and spontaneous. Everyone that met her would instantly love her, she had an infectious spirit. Jeannette was a woman of many interests, hobbies, and talents. Some things she was passionate about include; genealogy, sewing, crocheting, writing, cooking, geology, photography, politics, and gardening. She also enjoyed painting, scrapbooking, and making crafts out of just about anything. Jeannette especially loved butterflies and flowers and kept a collection of them. Out of all of her passions, family was Jeannette’s favorite. She truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many who will miss her dearly. 

Jeannette leaves behind to cherish her memory; her daughter, Stephanie Pate and husband Mitchell; son, Robert J. Clark and wife Kim; siblings, Gladys Moore, Carol Ralph, Terry Karpinski, Sandra Terry, Susan Simpson, and Barry Taylor; grandchildren, Jessica and husband Nick, Shelby and wife Brittnee, Erica and husband Brandon, and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Calley, Tyler, Bradelynn, Colton Joseph along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the chapel of Sterling~White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas 77562. A funeral service for Mrs. Clark will begin at 2:00 pm in the chapel with burial immediately following in Sterling~White Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Robert J. Clark, Shelby Clark, Amos Clark, Rob Clark, Sammy Baker, and Jeff Griffith. Honorary pallbearers are Mitchell Pate and Clayton Matthews.
