Jerry Lloyd Miller, the most interesting man in the world, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the age of 77. He was born on January 23, 1943 in Lafe, Arkansas to Jesse Parks Miller and Beulah Mae Oguin Miller. Jerry was honorably discharged after serving in the United States Navy, where he was on the USS Longbeach which was the first nuclear powered cruiser. He was a collector of many things and loved going to garage sales and goodwill. Jerry loved tending to his garden and sharing his vegetables with others. He enjoyed ranching, hunting and playing the harmonica. Jerry was a kindhearted man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Beulah Miller.

 

Jerry is survived by his wife, Susanne Miller; daughters, Angie Miller, Emily Kamp, and Deborah Cope and husband Jason; step-daughters, Theresa Roberts and husband James, and Tommie Barnett; sisters, Joyce Skinner and Diane Downun; brother, Jesse Miller and wife Teressa; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; beloved dog, LD; and a host of extended family.

 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at San Jacinto Memorial Park, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling White Funeral Home. To send the family condolences please visit www.sterlingwhite.com.
