Jo Ann (Clawson) Barrett
April 9, 1954 ~ January 30, 2024 (age 69) 69 Years Old
Jo Ann Barrett (Clawson) was born April 9th 1954 in Baytown, Texas. She was the middle child of Rachel and Johnny Clawson. As a child, she always took care of her family. She loved to play her flute in band during high school. She met our father in high school and had 3 children, twins Terry Lane Barrett Jr. and Kristy Lynn Barrett. Terry Jr. gained his wings at birth and we almost lost her as well, but she put up a good fight. Later came Cindy Ann Barrett. Jo Ann even helped raise a cousin, Jack Lee Clawson. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She loved baking cakes, cooking and making Christmas cookies with the children. She always made everyone's birthday cakes and even her fathers wedding cake. Jo Ann loved taking her girls to twirling, she was their Girl Scout leader, and she loved volunteering at their elementary school. Later, after her divorce, she worked at a bank and then worked in customer service. She always loved taking care of people, and was always there to help us no matter the circumstances. Jo Ann is survived by her sister Billie Freeman, daughters Kristy Lynn Clark and Cindy Ann Agidius, Grandsons Erick Lee Ingram Jr, Spencer Tyler Ingram, David Michael Bransfod, Paul Kenneth Agidius (PK), Granddaughters Samantha Kristina Fernandez, Anjelica Alexa Agidius, Adelaide Annalynn Agidius. Great grandchildren Eli Gauge Ingram, Kelly Renee’ Bransford, Kylian Read Bransford, and just hours after her death Niklaus Henry Brandsford. Jo Ann is also survived by her best friend Sherry Wolf, Son in laws Kevin Clark and Kenneth Agidius, and many many other nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends. She will be missed dearly. Words can’t express how much she loved us and how much she was loved. Jo Ann always knew how to make her presence known, but now it’s time for her to make her presence known in heaven. She will be our guardian angel and will always be there for us. We love you and look forward to the day we will see you again.
