Juan Angel Chapa, 68, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021, in Baytown, Texas. He was born in Monterey, Mexico on September 5, 1952, to Guadalupe and Evangelina Chapa. Of five children, he was the only boy in his family. Juan spent 40 years of his life working for Gulf State Toyota. When he was not working you could find him either hunting but most of all restoring Mustangs. Although he had a love for mustangs, his pride and joy was his Trans AM-Yellow Bird.
Juan was a passionate man, who would give his shirt off his shoulder to any who needed it. He was a very family-oriented person, who enjoyed spending time with them.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, his wife of 44 years, Vicki Chapa; his children Johnny Chapa, Kevin Chapa, Eric Chapa, Shaun Chapa, and daughter Sonja Allen; his five sisters, Bertha Rivas, Martha Alaniz, Norma Almeda, Tonya Chapa-Garvin, Nancy Chapa; his grandchildren Connor, Hannah, Levi, Kayla, Kevin, Jonathon, Amelie, Kylee, Mariah, Aubrey, Ashlynn, and Christian “Boo” and many more family and friends.
A Memorial Service for Juan will be held Friday, April 9, 2021, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Sterling~White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road Highlands, Texas 77562.
