Jose Maria Barrientes Jr.

Jose Maria Barrientes Jr., 53, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021. He was born on November 24, 1967, in Baytown, Texas to Jose Maria Barrientes Sr. and Maria Olivo Barrientes. Jose worked as a Safety Technician in the oil and gas industry. He liked watching sports and was a true Denver Broncos and Houston Astros fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting pool and hanging out with the guys. Jose will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria Barrientes Sr.; and brother, Antonio Peña.
 
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Campos Barrientes; daughter, Hailey Barrientes; step-daughter, Melissa Campos; granddaughter; Abrienna Coronado; sister, Patricia Peña; and a host of extended family and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Juan Cortes, Raul Bocordo, Steven Ramirez, Victor Campos, Miguel Campos, and Danny Avila.

A visitation for Jose will be held from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 pm on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Sterling-White Funeral Home Chapel, Highlands, Texas. Funeral Services will begin 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Sterling-White Chapel. Interment will follow immediately after in Sterling-White Cemetery.
