Jose Hernandez Jr

Jose Hernandez Jr. age 78, went to be with the Lord on Sunday January 6, 2019. He was born in Hebbronville, Texas on December 26, 1940 to  Paula R. Hernandez  and Jose Hernandez. He enjoyed working in his yard, cutting grass and watching western movies, but most of all spending time with his family. He was a very caring, hard working man, always helpful to all and will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; His son, Fernando Hernandez and his sister, Palmira Longoria. 

Jose is survived by his children, Mario Hernandez (and wife, Gregoria), Orlando Hernandez (and wife, Diana),  Jose Hernandez III, Juaquin Hernandez ( and wife,  Isabel) and Rose Martinez (and husband, Jose); his former wife, Manuela G. Hernandez; his sister and brothers, Maria H. Garza and Elias and Julio Hernandez. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Thursday evening January 10, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Friday morning, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Sterling White Funeral Home.
