Joe Carlis Lowden

Joseph “Joe” Carlis Lowden 77, of Crosby, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2018.  Joe was born on October 26, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas to Judge and Inez (Davis) Lowden.  Joe worked as a machinist for Exxon and then was promoted to Site Safety Coordinator for Exxon until his retirement.  In his free time Joe enjoyed hunting, ranching, raising bird dogs, being outdoors, collecting guns and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Judge and Inez Lowden; his loving wife, Polly Lowden and sister, Denise Lowden. Joe is survived by his son, David Lowden and wife Darla of Kingwood, Texas; son, Brian Lowden of Crosby, Texas.  Grandchildren, Jordan Lowden and Joshua Lowden of Kingwood, Texas; Alex Lowden and Madison Lowden of Crosby, Texas; great grandson, Gavin Wayne Scarbough; brother, Tommy Lowden and wife Karen of Crosby; brother, Jim Lowden; sister, Virginia Jenny Upshaw; and many other relatives and friends.  A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Sterling-White from 1pm-2pm.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 2pm at Sterling-White.  Services have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd.
