I am so sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather. I've know Joe for 57 years. He stood up for Warner and I in our wedding. I've always thought he was a big bear of a man and very sweet and I loved him and Polly. I loved listening to his stories he would tell about him ,Warner and Richard in high school. I didn't go to school with them cause I am younger and lived in Houston. I know he is with Polly now in paradise.

My greatest memory of Joe is going out to his farm on Sralla road when Brian and I were kids. Joe always had something for us to do. I remember him putting me on his tractor with a plow disc and pointing out to a big field. It was well after dark by the time I was done. I didn’t realize it then, but he was teaching me and molding my future. He was a big part of making me the man I am today. Rest easy Mr. Lowden.

My condolences to the family.
Joe was a Great man, he was someone I respected and enjoyed talking with, he was tough as nails with a heart of gold. He was honest and a straight shooter, never afraid to give his opinion. That’s one of the many things I liked about him. He was from an era when men were men and I will miss him a lot.
