Juanita Ray Sloan

Juanita Ray “Nita” Sloan, 69, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was born in Sudbury, England on August 3, 1952, to the late Charles and Betty Haley. Juanita was a woman with many hobbies. She enjoyed traveling and reading books and was known for having a great collection of books. She also loved to spend time in the yard and was very proud that her garden was always filled with beautiful yellow roses. Most of all Juanita loved to sing karaoke with her late husband Steve “Randy” Sloan. She was a wonderful lady who always kept a positive attitude, she will be dearly missed by all. Juanita is preceded in death by the love of her life, Steve Randy Sloan, with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law Randall and Kayleigh Sloan, sister and brother-in-law Betty and Jim Mathues, sister Karen Dooley as well as Canine companion Lily; and numerous other relatives and friends. A visitation for Juanita will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Sterling White chapel with funeral services to begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Sterling White Cemetery.
