Judy Ellen White Collins

Judy Ellen “White” Collins passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the age of 66 surrounded by family. She was born on October 21, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Thomas and Emma White. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1971. She enjoyed gardening, photography and collecting/crafting jewelry. She also enjoyed going shopping because it was as she liked to call it “therapeutic”. Judy loved traveling with her husband, some of her favorites being: the Hill Country, Colorado, Florida and Europe. Most of all, Judy loved spending time with her family. She had a great love for everyone and could be described as the most loving woman you’d ever met. Judy was a compassionate and beautiful woman who will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father Thomas H. White and her son Scott L. Collins.

Judy is survived by husband Louis E. Collins of Crosby, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Larissa & Shane Newby of Beach City, Texas; grandchildren Cydney Gelico, Emma Newby, Holli Newby, and David Newby; daughter and son-in-law Vanessa & Neil Nolen of Baytown, Texas; grandchildren Lindsey Nolen, Kailee Nolen, Sterling Lee, and Grayson Nolen; grandson Hunter S. Collins of La Follette, Tennessee; mother Emma P. White of Crosby, Texas; sister and brother-in-law Jennifer & Danny Miller of Crosby, Texas; Greg Gober, Tommy & Jennifer Gober and Jeff Gober. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Pallbearers will be: Shane Newby, Neil Nolen, David Newby, Tommy Gober, Jeff Gober, and Ronnie Storm.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Greg Gober and Hunter Collins.

A visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Sterling-White Cemetery.
