Kay Ann Brown

Kay Ann Brown age 66, went to be with the Lord on Monday October 16, 2017. She was born on November 19, 1950 to Vera Katherine Stratton Brown and Harold Ray Brown. She enjoyed traveling and was a good cook, she enjoyed action movies and going to the movies, but most of all spending time with her family. She was a longtime employee of the City of Houston, was always available to anyone who needed help. She was known to have a dry sense of humor and was very quick witted, and will be loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, Vera and Otis Stratton. Kay is survived by her Sister, Lucy G. Brown; her brother-in-law Gary A. Rodrick; her best friends, Cindy and Calvin Manie; and her friends at the “Poker Group”. She is also survived by many friends.

 A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Tuesday evening October 24, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Services will be held in Sterling White Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday morning October 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd.
