Kimberly Diane Hayes, age 40, went to be with the lord on Saturday June 15, 2019. She was born in Houston, Texas on November 21, 1978 to Debbie VanWagner Hayes and Cecil Franklin Hayes Jr. She enjoyed fishing, collecting jewelry, shopping and her exercise classes, but most of all spending time with her family. She was a very warm, loving and caring person always helpful to others, “sunshine on a stormy day” and will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Vivian and Cecil Hayes Sr. and Floyd VanWagner Sr. Kimberly is survived by her parents; her children, Valerie Rose Gilmete, Kristin Alexandria Persad, Adam Nicholas Persad and Ava Alyse Persad; her sister and brother, Amy Leos (and husband, Cipriano) and Richard Hayes (and wife, April) her nephews, Jake Leos and Alex Pace and her grandmother, Winifred VanWagner. Also survived by many numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Friday morning June 21, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service in Sterling-White Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private.
