Kimberly Dawn Jahnke

Kimberly Dawn Jahnke, 48, of Crosby, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on June 17, 1970 to Joe Edward Lindsey and Kathryn Boehm Harrison in Duncan, Oklahoma. She was a Crosby High School Graduate of 1988. Kim attended Bradford Business School and worked as a Manager at Municipal Accounts and Consulting where she had a lot of responsibilities and dedicated many hours. Her family meant more to her than anything in the world and she would do anything for them. They were members of the First Baptist Church of Crosby. She was strong, inspiring, courageous, a true fighter and an all-around good person that will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Lindsey and Kathy Harrison; and her daughter, Megan Jahnke.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Ricky Jahnke; her son, Logan Jahnke and wife, Anna; her brother, Lee Lindsey; and the sister she never had, Veronica Clanton. Kim is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. in Highlands, on Friday evening February 15, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home on Saturday morning, February 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sterling White Cemetery.
