Leetha Mary Bauer, 82, of Baytown Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. She was born on September 26, 1939 in Waukegan, Illinois to Owen Elston Stewart and Caroline Barbara Diehn Stewart. Leetha met John Royce Bauer in Roswell, New Mexico while he was in the Air Force, they were married on April 28, 1962. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Highlands where she was also a member of the Catholic Daughters. Leetha worked as a Beauty Operator in Roswell, New Mexico for two years, then was an amazing Housewife and Mom. She was previously active in the Baytown Bowling League, Baytown Art League, and she was a volunteer at the Baytown Hospital. Leetha enjoyed working in her yard, deer hunting, her Houston Oilers and Houston Texans, she loved Elvis Presley, and something I did not know about my Mom, she had a rather large Stamp Collection. Leetha was kind-hearted, considerate, and caring, making sure to take care of everyone before herself. Leetha will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by husband, John Royce Bauer; parents, Owen and Caroline Stewart; daughter, Jody Anne Blanchard; grandson, Andrew Bradley Blanchard; and brother, James R. Stewart.
