Tribute

Leticia Ann Carter was born in Baytown, Texas on July 28, 1953, and died in Houston, Texas on January 15, 2019.  Leticia was preceded in death by her parents, Rocky and Grace Juarez, and her husband Jimmie Carter, Jr.  Leticia is survived by her son Jimmie Carter III, wife Lisa Carter, and grandsons Jacob Ross Carter and Judah Paul Carter, and great-granddaughter Delilah Grace Carter.  Leticia is also survived by her siblings, Monica Araujo, Terry Araujo, Frank Juarez, and Lorenzo Juarez, as well as numerous other family members.  After a lifetime of medical issues and complications, Leticia went peacefully in her sleep.  It was as an ideal passing as could have been hoped, and Leticia lived her last few years in good health and was very happy.  We were blessed to have her.  Love you forever, Ma.

Honoring the family by serving as Pallbearers will be Rafael Jimenez, Sonny Ruiz, Paul Michael Ramirez, Frank “Eddie” Juarez, Michael Juarez, and Paul Torres.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Sterling White Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, Texas 77562.
