Lorenzo Duran, 58, of Baytown, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 24, 2020. He was born on July 10, 1962 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas to Octaviano and Hilda Duran. He grew up In Reynosa, Tamaulipas.

Lorenzo who was also known as “Lencho” and “Teo” was a hardworking man who provided for his family. He was humble and respected by many. Lorenzo pursued many interests, some of which included being outdoors on his tractor, feeding his animals specially Flika his horse, spending time with his family and having a good time at family gatherings. One of his favorite past times was going to new restaurants and trying various types of foods, beers and desserts. He was considered the life of the party who kept everyone laughing with his jokes.

Lorenzo was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many who knew him. His father Octaviano preceded him in death. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his mother Hilda, his wife Nora, his children Jasmina Duran Alvarez, Bianca Herrera, Gladys Vasquez, Javier Duran, Joshua Duran; his grandchildren Melody, Alexavier, Ashley, Roland, Jayden, Jordan, Jaylin, Samantha,  Johnny, Camila, Julianna and Isabella, his siblings Guadalupe, Jose Luis, Imelda, Enrique, Octaviano Jr., and a host of other loving relatives and friends. He will be truly missed by all.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, August 31, 2020 in the chapel of Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas, 77562.

 A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1124 Beech St, Baytown, Texas, 77520.

 A graveside service and committal will follow in Sterling White Cemetery.

Lorenzo Duran, de 58 años, de Baytown, Texas, falleció inesperadamente el lunes 24 de agosto de 2020. Nació el 10 de julio de 1962 en Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, hijo de Octaviano e Hilda Durán. Creció en Reynosa, Tamaulipas.

Lorenzo, también conocido como "Lencho" y "Teo", era un hombre trabajador que proporcionaba a su familia. Era humilde y respetado por muchos. Lorenzo persiguió muchos intereses, algunos de los cuales incluían estar al aire libre en su tractor, alimentar a sus animales especialmente Flika su caballo, pasar tiempo con su familia y pasar un buen rato en las reuniones familiares. Uno de sus tiempos pasados favoritos era ir a nuevos restaurantes y probar varios tipos de comidas, cervezas y postres. Se le consideraba la vida de la fiesta que hacía reír a todos con sus chistes.

Lorenzo era un hijo amoroso, hermano, esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo de muchos que lo conocían. Su padre Octaviano lo precedió en la muerte. Deja atrás para apreciar su recuerdo amoroso su madre Hilda, su esposa Nora, sus hijos Jasmina Duran Alvarez, Bianca Herrera, Gladys Vásquez, Javier Duran, Joshua Duran; sus nietos Melody, Alexavier, Ashley, Roland, Jayden, Jordan, Jaylin, Samantha, Johnny, Camila, Julianna e Isabella, sus hermanos Guadalupe, José Luis, Imelda, Enrique, Octaviano Jr., y una serie de otros parientes y amigos amorosos. Será verdaderamente extrañado por todos.

Se invita a los amigos a visitar a la familia de 5:00 pm a 8:00 pm el lunes 31 de agosto de 2020 en la capilla de Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas, 77562.

El martes 1 de septiembre de 2020 se llevará a cabo un servicio funerario a las 11:30 am en la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, 1124 Beech St, Baytown, Texas, 77520.

Un servicio junto a la tumba y un compromiso seguirán en el Cementerio Blanco Sterling.
