Louise W. Johnson

Louise Laverne Wimberly Johnson, 86, of Highlands, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020. She was born in Jewett, Texas on October 29, 1933 to Albea Taylor Wimberly and Alice Bell Brown Wimberly. Louise worked as a Secretary for an Insurance Agency for many years. Louise was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed crafting, crosswords, BINGO, and going to the casino to play on the slot machines. Family was very important to her especially her grandsons and her great-grandsons and she loved all children too. She was a sweet woman who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albea and Alice Wimberly; and brothers, Billy Joe Wimberly and Jimmy Wimberly.

Louise is survived by her husband, Carroll Johnson; daughter, Jana Grabill; grandsons, Donald Wayne Grabill (Crystal) and Daniel Paul Grabill (Ashley Williams); great-grandsons, Keenan Thacker, Jax Paul Grabill, and Brantley Grabill; sisters, Betty Register and Peggy Estep; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
