Louise Tisdale

Louise Southard Tisdale, 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2020. She was born on March 26, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to Alfred Southard and Mabel Cobbler Southard. Louise loved to garden, crochet, sew, and play the piano. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches and scrabble. One of her specialties was baking homemade bread. Her grandchildren especially loved her banana bread. People around her always noticed her quick wit. She always had a joke or humorous phrase to share. Making others laugh, made her smile. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her first husband of 28 years, Arnold Gaedchens Sr.; her second husband of 25 years, Charles Tisdale; parents, Alfred and Mabel Southard; sons, John Gaedchens and Donald Gaedchens; and son-in-law, Mark Roberts.

Louise is survived by her children, Arnold Gaedchens Jr. and Ellen Davis, Terry Gaedchens, Clyde Gaedchens, Stephen Gaedchens and wife Vicki, Sharon Taylor and husband, Dale, and Patricia Roberts; grandchildren, Tiffany Dawsey Satterwhite and husband Jason, Justin Taylor and wife Angie, Brandon Taylor and wife Stefanie, Daniel Gaedchens, Tyler Roberts, Trinity Roberts, Adaiah Gaedchens, Melchiah Gaedchens, Nathan Pointer, and Evelyn Thompson; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bridgecrest Rehabilitation Suites who cared for her over the past five years. They showered her with love and were always attentive.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00p.m. to 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Sterling-White Funeral Home, with services to follow immediately. Interment will be in Sterling-White Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas.
