Lucy Anderson Ivey

Lucy Anderson Ivey, 67, was born in Louisville, MS on May 7, 1951 and went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother A.Q. and Ruth Anderson.  Lucy is survived by her husband Steve Ivey of Highlands. Son Russell Ming and wife Donna of Crosby, Daughter, Charlsye Hawks and husband Michael of Baytown, Granddaughter Celeste Ming of Crosby, Two sisters, Amanda Lovorn of Louisville MS, Apryl Case and husband Jim of Benton AR, Brother Steve and wife Sherry Anderson of Louisville MS, and several nieces and nephews.

Lucy grew up in Louisville MS and moved to Texas in 1979 where she worked as a dental assistant until retiring in 2016.  She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, reading her Bible to her dogs early in the morning, traveling to Grapeland TX to visit family & friends, fishing, cooking desserts and going home to Mississippi whenever she got the chance.

Her family will receive friends at Crosby Church, 5725 Hwy 90, Crosby TX from 5PM to 7PM Thursday, November 29, 2018 with funeral service to be held after.  Burial will be at Refuge Cemetery, 293 Refuge Cemetery Rd, Grapeland, TX on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Crosby Church.
