Marilyn D Morris

Marilyn Morris, 73, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. She was born on August 27, 1943 in Cedar Bayou, Texas to Robert Frank Morris and Nellie Beatrice Elledge Morris. She was always loving and a spirited young lady. She enjoyed her life here in Baytown and in Granite Shoals, Texas. She loved her special Olympics and telling stories. She was also proud member of the Baytown Opportunity Center. For the last 15 years, Marilyn has lived in Highlands, Texas with her cousin and caregiver Jessie A. Martin and attended Bay Area Rehab Center of Baytown. She will be dearly missed by all who had the joy of calling her family and friend.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Morris; father, Robert “Bob” Morris; brother, Wendel Morris; and step-father, Reggie Powell.

Marilyn is survived by a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Sterling White Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm.
