Martin Rodriguez

Martin Rodriguez, 58, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. He was born on January 10, 1963 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to parents Jose V. Rodriguez and Guadalupe Vasquez Rodriguez. Martin was a Superintendent for night repairs at Southwest Shipyard LP in Channelview, Texas. Martin loved watching football and was a huge New England Patriots fan. He was full of life and always cheerful. Martin will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Guadalupe Rodriguez; and siblings, Baldemar Zamora, Modesta Zamora, and Rosa Zamora.

Martin is survived by his wife Maria Alicia Rodriguez; children, Martin Ernesto Rodriguez, Eric Joshua Rodriguez, and Jessica Nicolette Rodriguez; siblings, Angelica (Rene) Treviño of San Juan, TX; Berta Alicia (Chris) Klosterman of Sioux City, IA; Georgina (Oscar) Barajas of Sioux City, IA; Jose (Gloria) Rodriguez of Houston, TX; Luis (Rhoda) Rodriguez of Watertown, SD; and Irma (Mauro) Acosta of Sioux City, IA; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the I.C.U. staff of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and to Southwest Shipyard LP.

Friends are invited to visit the family from 2pm until 4pm on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Sterling White Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4pm.
