Marvin Alvarez, 52, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020. He was born on January 23, 1968 in Ganado, Texas to Roberto Alvarez and Eloisa Gonzales. Marvin worked as an Operator for Exxon Mobil. He was an adventurous man who travelled the world, loved movies, explored food, and cherished his family. Marvin was a great listener, an enthusiastic learner, and winsomely confident. Marvin will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roberto Alvarez.
Marvin is survived by his children, John Christopher Alvarez and wife Abigail, Aaron Anthony Alvarez and fiance Stephany, and Victoria Alexis Alvarez; grandchildren, Elena Alvarez and Fredrick Alvarez; siblings, Robert Alvarez Jr., Elma Rodriguez and husband Mike, and Kenneth Alvarez and wife Christine; nephews, Michael Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, and Jesse Alvarez; and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Sterling-White Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Marvin’s Life to follow at 11:00a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas.
