Megan Kate Jahnke

Megan Kate Jahnke, 18, gained her angel wings on Saturday, September 8, 2018.  She was born on March 14, 2000 to Richard Jahnke and Kimberly Lindsey Jahnke. Megan was a 2018 graduate of Crosby High School. She had a sweet, compassionate, and bubbly personality. She enjoyed playing with her poodle, Sissy, reading, and watching scary movies. Megan touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Doris Jahnke, Joe Lindsey, and Kathryn Harrison; and great grandmother, Bernice Boehm.

Megan is survived by her parents, Ricky and Kim Jahnke; brother, Logan and Anna Jahnke; aunts and uncles, Lee and Linda Lindsey, Chris and Beverlie Jahnke, Gwen and Ken Adams, and Tiffany Poeling; great aunts, Lillian Boehm and Linda Jahnke; great uncle, Frank and Connie Haschke; numerous cousins; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church of Crosby, 615 Runneburg Rd, Crosby, TX 77532. Interment will follow in Sterling-White Cemetery.
