Michael Clifton Davis

Michael “Mike” Clifton Davis, 56, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, in Baytown, Texas. He was born on January 25, 1964, to the late Hubert Garland Davis Jr. and Barbara Jean Tucker Davis, in Baytown, Texas. Mike attended C.E. King High School where he graduated in 1982; where he went onto attend trade school. He spent his career as a pipefitter, retiring from Pipe Fitters Local 211.

Mike was a person who pursued many interests, some of which included fishing, boating, being involved with the little league and football team with his children while they were young. He was a busy person who was always involved in various community activities. Mike worked hard to make sure his family was well provided for and did not want for anything.

Mike was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Christopher Michael Davis; his brother Eddie Davis and his sister Carolyn Haynes. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his beloved wife of 30 years LaJeana Davis of Houston, Texas; his sons Garland Davis and fiancé Kyzia of Houston, Texas, Kelton Davis of Houston, Texas; his brothers H.G. Davis III of Highlands, Texas, Donald Davis of Houston, Texas; his sister Teresa Hunt and husband Don of Deer Park, Texas, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, January 17, 2021, from 5 pm until 7 pm, in the chapel of Sterling ~ White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas 77562. A funeral service for Mr. Davis will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 2 pm in the chapel of Sterling ~ White Funeral Home.
