Naomi Louise Stubbs Michalsky was born on January 29, 1928, to Dock F. and Lavada Stubbs. She parted this world to be in God’s hands-on Friday, January 15, 2021.
She married Tommy on June 17, 1946. Together, they owned and operated Michalsky’s Supermarket for 31 years. Naomi was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society until she moved to Boerne to be by her daughters.
Naomi was a tenderhearted, loving individual who offered encouragement and friendship to all. She enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, and gardening but most of all she enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tommy A. Michalsky, sons Clifford and Thomas, son-in-law Danny Kubin and great-granddaughter Ashley Donahoe. Also, her sister Elenor Whitten and brothers Harold and Bruce Stubbs.
Naomi is survived by her daughters Cynthia and husband James Pospisil of Boerne and Mary Kubin of Kendalia, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Annie Michalsky, Anna Mae Jasek, and numerous nieces and nephews.
