Ofelia Lynch Manguino passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2020 in Houston, TX, at the age of 81. She is survived by her loving husband, Roger, of almost 50 years, their 3 daughters and their husbands, Diwi and Shroeder Allen, Jennifer and Julian Vasquez, and Eileen and Loyal Moses, their 5 grandchildren, Isabel, Liam, Van, Gwen, and Aaron, and her brother, Jose Lynch, Jr. Ofelia touched the lives of many as a registered nurse for almost 50 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, godmother, and friend. She was a generous, loving, and caring soul with a fondness for reading and gardening. She brought joy and happiness to those around her. Her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was prominent in her life and showed in her countenance. She was truly an angel on earth and will continue to be one for her beloved God. Ofelia was born on March 11, 1939 in Calamba City, Philippines. She graduated from the School of Nursing at University of Santo Thomas in Manila and lived in Connecticut and New Jersey as a foreign nursing exchange student. She officially emigrated to the US in 1972. With Roger, Ofelia made a home in Chicago, and then Houston, raising their beautiful daughters. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Lynch, Sr. and Maxima Belarmino and brothers and sisters, Belen Maneja, Melina Valderrama, Leonardo Lynch, Gloria Lynch, Alberto Lynch, and Rodolfo Lynch.
