Patricia Morgan Chandler long time resident of both Highlands and Houston Tx passed away peacefully on 11 July 2020 of natural causes.
Patricia grew up in Highlands where she attended Robert E. Lee High school. She loved being a twirler for the marching band all four years before graduating in 1962. She later completed an associate degree at Lee College in 1982. Then continued her education at the University of Houston where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business management in 1985. After college she worked for, and then later owned, Jet Cargo News an international publication covering the global airline industry. This career enabled her to combine her passions of journalism and travel. Pat traveled the world interviewing the titans of the air freight industry form England to India. After fulfilling her dreams of world travel and building her publication, Pat eventually sold it and went to work for Pate Engineering until she retired in 2008.
She is survived by her sister: Barbara Lane, and brothers: William “Buddy” Morgan and Audie Morgan. Her two sons: Michael and David; six grandchildren: Carmalee, Jedd, Solomon, Jacob, Amanda and Samantha and three great grandchildren: Eli, Samuel and Trinity.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on July 17, 2020 at Sterling-White Funeral Home at 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd, Highlands Tx. 77562. The viewing will be held for family 4-5 PM and friends from 5-8 PM on July 16, 2020.
