Paul Anderson was a good man, loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Family was the center of his devotion and love, especially his beloved bride, Betty, of 72 years. Paul & Betty met in Georgia, where Paul was serving in the Air Force at Warner Robbins during the Korean War. They quickly wed and returned to Texas, where Paul concluded his 50 year career at HB&T Railroad. A lengthy lineage of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren came from their love, and he never missed an opportunity to get them all together. A talented carpenter, Paul was always building projects & homes on the side, and even built a home for each of his 3 children so they could have a safe home to start their families. Paul and Betty retired to Marquez, Tx at “The Farm”, where his love for building, farming, and raising cows all came together. Every structure was built by Paul with the help of family. Endless memories for the entire family were created here, and so many new friendships. “Sure is pretty country” he would say.

Paul & Betty returned home to Crosby at the ripe age of 75 to be closer to their growing number of grands/greats. He only supervised the construction of this home, though! He loved hard & unconditionally, worked tirelessly from a child’s age, and never lost sight of what truly mattered; his family.

Paul, Mr. P, Papa, Dad; whatever you called him, you were a better person after knowing him.

We love you Dad, it’s ok to get some rest now!
