Paul Douglass O’Reilly, age 50, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 surrounded by family. He was born on July 4, 1968 to Doug O’Reilly and Janice O’Reilly in Baytown, Texas. Paul worked in the Oil & Gas industry for many years, he was a natural leader who liked taking charge and even worked on his own DIY projects. He loved to watch sports especially football and NASCAR. Paul was laid back, he enjoyed going fishing, cooking, barbequing and listening to Rock n’ Roll. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father Doug O’Reilly, his father-in-law Buster Lea, his grandmother Geneva Ward and his grandfather Oscar Ward.
Paul is survived by his daughters Staci O’Reilly and Ashley Giboney, son Landon O’Reilly, son-in-law Miles Grant, mother Janice O’Reilly, sister Kristeen Kutchka and husband Louis, brother Sam O'Reilly, Nieces Ashley Chinowith, Katy Kutchka and Alicia Arnold, nephew Kyle Kutchka, God-Daughters Brittany Kappler and Brooke Barrett, and his best buddy Jamie Murphy. He is also survived by 2 great nieces, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Berry Begeron, Mike Cox, Miles Grant, Landon O’Reilly, Louis Kutchka and Kyle Kutchka. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Harlin, Victor Marines, Jerry Bradford, Cody Arnold and Zach Chinowith.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. in Highlands, on Wednesday evening February 27, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be following services in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown, Texas.
