Peter Anthony Holmes

Peter “Big Pete” Anthony Holmes, 65, of Highlands, Texas, passed away, on Saturday, December 19, 2020, with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 14, 1955 to the late Emory Daniels and Naomi Ross Daniels, in Tomball, Texas. Pete graduated from Magnolia High School. Afterwards he attended Lon Morris Jr. College, graduating from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He was a lifelong member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Pete was an avid movie enthusiast, having too many to count. He enjoyed sitting around while at home relaxing watching movies. He was a fun loving man, who was known as the life of the party. Pete’s daughter writes; “This world is big but, I knew you were bigger! Daddy you are my best friend MY LIGHTHOUSE when I need direction. I don’t know what I will do without you. I love you Daddy…. Stacy”

Pete was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters Vanessa Fridie and Penny Daniels. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his beloved wife of 14 years Jacki Holmes of Highlands; his daughter Stacy Marie Harp of Baytown; his brothers Robert Daniels and wife Joan of Baytown, Paul Daniels of Magnolia, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Mr. Holmes will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Piney Grove Cemetery, 16815 FM 1488, Magnolia, Texas 77353.
