Ramroop Daniel Babwah

Ramroop Daniel Babwah, 80, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 29, 2019. He was born on December 1, 1938 in Piarco Village in Trinidad to Etwaria Sarah and Dinanath Babwah. Ramroop attended St. Helena Presbyterian School and Chadees. He worked at Bel-Air Hotel and Shell Trinidad Limited/National Petroleum. He was introduced to Bhagmanie by her sister Moon and they were married in 1957.

Ramroop was hardworking, funny, and a family man who loved everyone unconditionally. He was an avid follower of Jesus Christ which led him to become the pastor of Central Vineyard Ministries. He was an enthusiastic cricket player and an excellent fisherman. He woke up every morning singing God’s Praises. He was an amazing sportsman and storyteller. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gordon Babwah.

Ramroop is survived by wife, Bhagmanie Babwah; daughter, Pearl Carpenter and husband John; son, Ken Babwah; daughter,  Ancilla McKenney and husband Mitch; daughter, June Brinkley and husband Shannon; son, Stephen Babwah and wife Mary; grandchildren, Jennifer Rummage and husband Lee, Jonathan Carpenter,  Kayleigh McKenney, Justin Carpenter, Kelseigh Schultz and husband Sam, Shawna Brinkley, Oliver Babwah, Gabriella Babwah, Arianna Babwah; great-grandchildren, Marcus Carpenter, Madison Rummage, James Rummage, Jaxon Schultz, Leah Carpenter and Liam Carpenter.

  Honoring him as pallbearers will be Stephen Babwah, Ken Babwah, Shannon Brinkley, Mukesh Ramcharan, Jonathan Carpenter, Justin Carpenter, Shawna Brinkley and Oliver Babwah.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Sterling White Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019 with Paul Lyle officiating at Sterling White Funeral Home.
