Robert M. “Bob” Anderson, age 71, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at MD Anderson Hospital after a long battle with Leukemia. At the time of his passing he was surrounded in love by his family. He is survived by his wife, Libby (Wheat) Anderson; son, Todd Anderson; granddaughter, Emma Anderson; daughter & son-in-law, Kelley & James Malick, sisters; Carol Freeman Soard, Teresa Harbor & Tamara Becknell; brothers, Tim Anderson & Steve Anderson.

The son of James M Anderson & Geneva (Reeves) Anderson, Bob was born and raised in Lexington, Ky. After graduating from Lafayette high School in 1964, Bob enlisted in the United States Army.

In 1979, Bob relocated to Baytown, TX, just east of Houston. Most of his career was spent at Anheuser-Busch, where he worked as a lab technician & analyst. In 2014, at the time of his retirement, Bob had worked for Anheuser-Busch for over 30 years. In his free time, Bob was an avid reader, a tennis enthusiast & a master of political debates. He was a member of the Teamsters Union & the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
