Robert Hollis Evans was born in Dayton, Texas on September 13, 1976 to Rodney and Ann Evans and passed peacefully following a lengthy illness on September 26, 2022 at the age of 46. He is survived by his children Gretchen and Reid Evans, father Rodney Evans and family, sisters Jana Fregia and family, Malindee Seedner and family, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Robert will always be remembered for his love of his children. He enjoyed spending time with them at the many ballparks they played at, taking them to Lake Livingston and the Frio River, watching their favorite movies on weekends and seeing them mature into the people every parent dreams of. He will be missed for his ability to make those around him laugh and the way he always tried to be there for his family and friends. He was an electrician for many years but was also a great mechanic who could fix most anything.
Preceding him in death are his mother Ann Scott, maternal grandparents Robert and Ellen Turner, paternal grandparents Willard Evans and Wanda Pittman, aunt Carol Turner and cousins Dale Erwin, Ryan Rodriguez and Nicholas Evans.
The family would like to thank the staff of Stonehaven Assisted Living and the medical staff of HCA Hospital for their compassion and care for not only Robert but the family as well.
