Robert Eugene Hinton Jr. age 63, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 11, 2018. He was born in Houston, Texas on June 8, 1955 to Iladale Barron Hinton and Robert Eugene Hinton Sr. He enjoyed outdoor cooking and was known for his BBQ, his guns, dancing and parties, but most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a very good calm man with a funny sense of humor and will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in law and father-in-law,  Billie Hinton and Ellis Carter; his grandmother, Jewel Hinton and his niece and great-nephew, Tammi Askew and Christopher Doss. Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Evonia “Bonnie” Hinton; his children, Mary Hinton, Jakob Hinton (and wife,Haley) and Amy Bosley (and husband, Matt); his brothers, Sam and Jeff Hinton; his sister, Vickie Russell and his grandchildren, Tayah, Kylee and Grace Simmons, Dylan Padgett and Taylor and Jesse Barton. Also survived by  other relatives and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Monday morning December 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by services in Sterling White Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
