Rosa C. Villarreal, 76, of Crosby, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 3, 1943 in Robstown, Texas to Santiago “Jim” Cortinas and Eloise Trevino Cortinas.  She was a real go-getter with a wonderful sense of humor and strong work ethic.  She exceeded at being an amazing wife, Mother and homemaker that loved her family especially her grandchildren.  Rosa outshined as the genius of the family.  Rosa was artistic, gifted and talented.  She put her creative skills to use by sewing clothes for her children, when they were younger.  She enjoyed tending to her fruit vineyard, and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Eloise Cortinas.

Rosa is survived by her husband Roger Villarreal; daughter, Angel Lacy and husband Jackie Ray; daughter, Tita Norman and husband Lance; son, Roque Villarreal; son, John Villarreal and wife Cristal; brother, Pete Cortinas; brother, Jimmy Cortinas and wife Marie; brother, Rudy Cortinas and wife Joyce; sister, Dora Gonzalez and husband Lupe; grandchildren, Sean Kubin and wife Nicole, Zachary Kubin, Erica Stoll and husband Andy, Ashley Lacy, Megan Bragdon and husband Jerry, MaKayla Webb, Jesse Villarreal, Joseph Villarreal, Addison Villarreal and Lilliana Villarreal; great grandchildren, Hadassah Kubin, Arrabella Kubin, Andrew Stoll, Lacy Stoll, Sawyer Stoll, Memphis Privett, and Willow Bragdon; other extended family and numerous friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home with a recitation of a rosary at 7:00pm.  A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 915 Runneburg Rd, Crosby, TX 77532.
