Russell McCreight

Russell “Rusty” McCreight age 57 Liberty, TX passed away February 3, 2021.  Russell was born in Liberty, TX on October 7, 1963 to George & Barbara Jean McCreight.  Russell is proceeded in death by his parents and step-father William Quinn.  

Russell is survived by his wife Dana McCreight, his son; Dustin McCreight and wife Heather, daughter; Memori Morgan and husband Anthony, all of Liberty, TX Russell’s grandchildren:  -Stormi, Piper and Russell McCreight, Klutch and Sunni Morgan.  Russell is also survived by his siblings; Robyn Rachel and her husband Michael of Rye, TX, Andrew McCreight and his wife Connie of Galveston, TX, Frances Anderson and her husband Sean of Livingston, TX and Wilma Blanchard and her husband Morgan of Saratoga, TX.  Russell had numerous nieces and nephews.

Russell enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outside. Russell worked in the chemical/ petroleum industry for over 35 years, for Jacobs and then Worley. He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He was a role model for everyone he was around. He was our best friend. He was a very proud man and the most selfless person In the world. He will be dearly missed.

Services for Russell are Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Crosby Church located at 5725 US Highway 90, Crosby, TX  77532 with Pastor Keenan Smith presiding.
