Sandra K Buchanan

Sandra “Sandie” Kay Hogan Buchanan passed away July 29, 2020 surrounded by her husband and sister and a niece.  She was born February 18, 1954 in Mansfield, LA to James and Ruth Powell Hogan.

The Hogan’s moved to Conroe, TX in 1957 where Sandra “Sandie” graduated in the Class of 1972.   Just a few short months after graduation she married Lonnie Buchanan.   They would soon make their permanent home in Highlands, TX.

Preceding Sandra in death were her parents, James and Ruth Hogan and a brother, James “Buddy” Hogan.  Also were her inlaws, James and Lillie Buchanan.

Sandra is survived by her husband Lonnie of 48 years.  A sister, Jane Keppler and Mike of Smithville.  Many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members survive.

Services will be August 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM with The Rev. Mike Keppler officiating at the Sterling-White Funeral Home
