Sandra Diane Brewer Gross, 76, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 17, 2021. She was born on February 16, 1945, in Goose Creek, Texas to Sidney Iley Brewer and Generia Avis Bankston Brewer. Sandra was raised in Baytown, graduating from Lee High School, and later relocated to Crosby.
She was a woman of God, a true woman of faith. She loved Jesus so much and had a true personal relationship with him. She was an artist, she painted beautiful paintings and enjoyed anything artistic. Her love of puzzles could not be compared. She absolutely loved to play games, Mexican train, skipbo, or their family game Borique. She was her family’s biggest fan and loudest cheerleader. Sandra was also talented with her words, writing many poems, prayers, and short stories over the years. She became a published author in 2016 when she wrote the book, Never, Never, Never Give Up!
Sandra will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is now praising her Savior, hugging her beloved husband, and having one amazing family reunion. We are sad and left behind, but “our hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus’ love and righteousness”.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, John David Gross; parents, Sidney, and Generia Brewer; and sister, Sherry Brinkley.
Sandra is survived by her son, Pastor Craig Gross, and wife Cindy; daughter, Robin Gross; grandsons, Addison Gross, and wife Jasmine Caldwell, and Kriston Sims; great-granddaughter arriving in February, Aria Gross; her niece and nephews whom she adored, and a host of extended family and friends.
