Susan Patricia Timmons

Susan Patricia Timmons was born June 18, 1956 in Tallahassee, Florida. She relocated with her family to Texas in 1961, initially to the Fort Worth area, and then to Baytown, Texas.  After graduation from high school, Susan attended San Angelo State University and finished her studies at Texas State University. Susan’s love of travel eventually led her to becoming a flight attendant.  She loved her job as a flight attendant and traveled the world but had a special fondness for Italy which she visited many times. After 27 years as a flight attendant, she retired and moved to the Baytown area to be near her family.

Susan was an ardent exerciser, jogging around Town Lake in Austin and Memorial Park in Houston were her favorites. She also loved to watch football and baseball. A fervent supporter of her Texas teams, she rarely missed a University of Texas football game.   

Susan will be forever remembered in our hearts as kind, loving, and compassionate.  Her wicked sense of humor kept her family and friends entertained at gatherings. 

Susan is survived by her parents, John and Barbara Timmons of Baytown, TX; sister Virginia Timmons of Saudi Arabia; brother John Timmons, Jr. and his wife Marianne of Atascocita, TX; sister Nancy Kerr of Atascocita TX; and brother Tommy Timmons of Cedar Park, TX.  She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Saturday January 12, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by services in Sterling White Funeral Home.
