Susan Page Rogers

Susan Page Rogers, 57, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was born on May 6, 1960 in Manila, Philippines to Marcial Acuna Aldana and Marta Villanueva Aldana. She was a ’79 graduate of Incarnate Word Academy in Houston and a ’96 graduate of University of Houston-Downtown with a BA in Social Science.  Susan was a professional Hula Dancer with Grace Hula Dance Company. She was a great cook, with her specialty being traditional Filipino dishes. Susan enjoyed everything about the culture, song, and dance of Hawaii, and truly lived in the Aloha Spirit. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and sister that will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband, David Rogers; daughter, Kaitlan Page; stepson, Emil Kimbrell; sisters, Angelita Moyer and Lea Aldana-Marklin and their spouses, Charlie Moyer and Michael Marklin; sister-in-law, Christine Hopkins; nephew, Steven Hopkins; niece, Sofia Marklin; and many other extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life following at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Sterling White Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, Texas 77562.
