Terry Lynn Strahan

Terry Lynn Strahan, beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather, was born November 27th, 1957 and passed away September 13th, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sarah Strahan, his brother Danny Ray Strahan and wife Rita Kay Strahan, his brother Jerry Wayne Strahan, his sister Martha Sue Olders and husband James Olders, his sister Jana Strahan Youngblood and husband Joseph Youngblood, his brother Brenton Strahan and wife Terrin Strahan, his daughter Dana Sweeney and her son Brandon Sweeney, his daughter Kasey Wilson, and his sons; Robert Strahan and wife Katie Strahan and their daughter Sawyer Strahan, Jacob Strahan, and Jonathan Strahan and wife Macy Hataway. 

Terry was a beloved husband and a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. He had a passion for cars and racing, and loved going to car shows and race tracks with friends and family. He worked as a storage tank builder until the age of 30, then worked for Max Mahaffey Ford for 10 years until opening his own successful mechanic shop. Terry continued as a mechanic for 36 years and was revered as a “master” mechanic by many. He could always be found tinkering with small engine projects, or working on his boat with plans to go deep sea fishing. Terry deeply loved his children and felt immense pride in each of them. He beamed when surrounded by his family, especially his precious granddaughter Sawyer. 

To honor and remember Terry, a visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19th from 10am-12pm. Funeral services will be held starting at noon.
