Valarie Katherine Schiappa- Stephens

On April 27, 2021, Valarie Katherine Schiappa-Stephens, a loving mother and devoted friend passed away at the age of 41. Valarie was born on November 1, 1979, in Channelview, TX, to Virginia Schiappa and Van Hollis. She grew up in Sheldon Texas and attended CE King High School c/o 98’. She continued her education at Lee College studying CAD Draft Design.  She had many different jobs over the years.  Valarie’s biggest love of all was doing anything with her three boys.  They were her world and had her heart for sure. Being their mother was her absolute most favorite accomplishment. She enjoyed lots of different hobbies such as fishing, going to the beach, camping, traveling, woodworking, building cars, and spending time with her family and many friends. Valarie was known as a free-spirited kind soul that you could trust and count on.  She was a firecracker with the best smile and loved to laugh and enjoy life. She was a thoughtful, trustworthy, loyal and honest friend to so many. She would help anyone in need and didn’t know a stranger.  She had so much love to give to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.  

She is preceded in death by her Father-in-law William M. Stephens Jr., her Aunt Gay Schiappa, her Uncle Carey Hollis, her cousin Tammy Rhodes, and her heart Granny Ida Hollis.  

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her parents Van Hollis and Virginia Schiappa, her husband William Stephens III, her children Hayden Chance-Tyler Schiappa, Bailey Jordan Meoynortha, McKale Isaac Schiappa, Bret Tyler Stephens, Erika Taylor Stephens, granddaughter Mellany Stephens, her Uncle Ronnie Schiappa, her cousin Frankie Schiappa, her Mother-in-law Barbara Stephens and numerous extended family and friends.  

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on May 7, 2021, at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Sterling~White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road Highlands, Texas 77562.
