Vealta Kay Parks

Vealta Kay Parks, 79, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, in Pasadena. She was born on July 16, 1941, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Thomas Fain and Velela Arnold Fain. Vealtagraduated from Robert E. Lee High School. She was a member of Second Baptist Pasadena where she taught Sunday and played piano.

Vealta was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Geraldine Dillon. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her son William Padgett and wife Kelly of Boyd, Texas, her grandchildren Jordan and Wade Padgett of Boyd, Texas, her brother Thomas Fain Jr. of Plano, Texas. 

A graveside service for Ms. Parks will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10:00am in Sterling ~ White Cemetery, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas 77562.
