Wayne Cloyd Moses

Wayne Cloyd Moses 82, of LaPorte, Texas went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2017.  Wayne was born on January 15, 1935 in Lovelady, Texas to Arnold and Alma Lee (Reynolds) Moses.  Wayne worked as a superintendent in the Construction Industry for many years an in his free time he enjoyed watching western movies, hunting, rodeo, playing country blue grass and gospel music, raising livestock and most of all spending time with his family and friends.  Wayne was a very outgoing and kind man who never met a stranger, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Arnold Moses; wife, Catherine Moses; sister, Vera Crawley; wife, Barbara Moses and sister, Evelyn Williams.  Wayne is survived by his son, Michael Moses and wife Debra of Webster; daughter, Renae Kelly and husband Tommy of Dayton, Texas; daughter, Kim Davis and husband Lee of Baytown, Texas; sister, Opal Dodd; lifetime friend, Jeanie Delcerta; extended family, Donna and Gene Chamblee, Kathy and Gene Holloway, Diane Hargrave; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.  A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 10am-11am at Sterling-White.  A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 11am at Sterling-White Funeral Home with entombment following at Sterling-White Cemetery.  Services have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home and Cemetery 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd.
