Doris, I can't begin to put in words how much I love you. I will never forget the monumental times you came for me in my life. When, my own Dad died you were there and made sure Gloria got to me. And then when I was left alone with Kristin and pregnant with Michael in Baytown in an apartment with no car, it was you that came and rescued me and told me how I was going to be ok. You kept assuring me how I could, would and did make it on my own! You gave me hope, encouragement, and boldness so many times in the younger days of my life! And I wonder if you even knew how much I appreciated and loved you! And then after many many years of not seeing you, at San Jacinto Methodist on Alexander I ran into you and it was as if we had never been apart!!! Thru those years I Would always think of you, hear your laugh and the crazy songs you sang to us! The days you were there in my building where I worked with Mr Bill we were able to reunite. We talked forever and laughed like we had never been apart! My heart is broken because I did not make the time to see you more when I could have and didn't. But I know for certain I will see you again, oh what a glorious day! I know you are visiting with so many in Heaven and the celebration party is grand! I will always love you Doris Farmer, you are and always will be tattooed on my heart, just like my own Mom is.
Lord I pray peace and comfort over the great family Doris leaves behind. May their days be filled with love and laughter as they think of her and share her memory with others. May her legacy live on thru those that learned from her and her light forever shine thru them that had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. We thank you Lord and are humbled for giving us Doris Farmer. In your mighty name we pray, Amen.

Doris I know you will be truly missed. Loved the times we visited. Beautiful smile and laugh, that was one of a kind. Special lady to all who knew you. When you left us you entered the gates of Heaven. Now you can walk with Him and talk with Him and tell him you are his own. Til we meet again on the other side of Jordan. See you one day. .To all the family may you find hope in knowing you will see her again one day.
