Just learned that Tommy had passed away. He was my supervisor who hired me to work for BE&K Construction back in 1990 and is the person I credit for giving me my start in safety. He was a mentor and supporter for a young guy trying to get his career started. I have many fond memories of Tommy on the job site and know he is missed by many. His approach to safety was one of connecting with the craft guys and he was a master of that. Learned many methods and ways to deal with things from Tommy. Sad to know that both Tommy and our mutual friend Troy Smith have gone on. Tommy will always have a special place in my heart. Deepest condolences to Hattie, Jeff and Marisa....

This photo was taken in 1994 when we lived in Edenton, NC and Tommy came for a visit. The little girl is our daughter Sabrina who was 1 at the time. She's now 23!

Tommy was my cousin, his grandfather was my uncle. As we were growing up, my family visited Paragould every summer. Tommy, Dale Lee, my brother Joe and I spent many summer nights catching fireflies to put in a mason jar and days driving my Aunt Caaddie crazy by running up and down her staircase. Tommy will be greatly missed by all of us who loved him but the memories will live on in our hearts.

This is hard to believe. Tommy was such a sweet, good guy.
He will be missed by his classmates from the Paragould High School Class of 1971. A memorial gift in his honor is being given to the Paragould High School library by his friends in the PHS Class of '71. We will cherish his memory, and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hattie, I am so sad about Tommy's passing. Although I never knew him, I'm sure he was special because he chose you to be his soul mate. You and the family are in my prayers. May The Lord bring you peace and comfort as you rest in the timeless memories of the precious years you spent with Tommy. I love you, my best friend!!

Tommy was one of the nicest guys I went to school with at Castle Heights, plus we Arkansas guys had a little extra in common up there in Tennessee. We ran into each other in Monticello once after I graduated and had a nice visit. So sorry to hear about his passing. My thoughts are with all of you. Terry Hawkins, Dumas Ark. CHMA Class of 1970.
