Michelle and Dalton- Jake and I were so shocked to hear of sweet Michaela's passing. We have such fond memories of the CDT cheerleading days and all the fun the girls had at the competitions.We watched an old video not too long ago and we could hear Dalton cheering on the girls as he always did at one of the many competitions. Michaela was always so sweet, kind, and respectful of everyone-truly an angel. Although we have not seen you all in many years, your family holds a special place in our hearts. I am so saddened to hear of this profound loss for the family... our children are so precious and there are no guarantees for tomorrow, only now, today... your loss comes on the heels of a grandson being born 11 weeks early... our children fill our lives with surprises... There are no words to say, just a heart that is completely broken. Michele, Dalton and Denton, know my love and prayers are with you. Michaela was such a special, beautiful young woman. I will always see her holding a child, my nene, in her arms. She had such a gift with kids. Always kind and patient, with a smile that would light up any room. I will never understand why she's gone.
